Eken Weddings Turkey

Eken Weddings Turkey - wedding planning

Client: Eken Weddings Turkey, Date: 2017 (ceased 2021)

Eken Weddings Turkey, a bespoke wedding planner based near Fethiye on Turkey's beautiful Mediterranean/Aegean coast, contracted us to create a site for their business.

What we did:

With business rapidly expanding, Eken Weddings Turkey (EWT) wanted a showcase for their wedding planning services. We contacted EWT's suppliers and venues to get approved details and official photos with the suppliers' permission to use on the website.

The build began in 2017 after the domain was secured, and lots of back-and-forth ensued on content approval. And sometimes there was lots of forth and nothing back. Cooperation and contact with your designer/site manager is crucial, we cannot emphasise this enough.

Unfortunately a change in circumstances for the owner led to the closure of EWT in 2021, and our fully-built 20+ page website was never deployed as final bills weren't settled.

If you've ever fancied getting married in some of the most beautiful locations on the planet, while we can still recommend the Turkish Aegean coast, we now unfortunately can't direct you to Eken Weddings Turkey.

Farleigh Clinic – facial treatments

Client: Farleigh Clinic, Date: 2015 - 2020

Farleigh Dental (farleighdental.co.uk) contracted us to create a site and branding for their new medical aesthetic facial treatments.

Update 29th July 2020: Due to the retirement of a key team member and as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Farleigh Clinic ceased trading at the end of June 2020. It's been our pleasure to work with the Farleigh Clinic team for the past five years and we'd like to wish Pauline a very happy retirement.

What we did:

As with Farleigh Dental, we again took care of all the requirements. This included the name and creating everything from logo to website and designing signage.

We researched the products and treatments offered by the client’s new business. By directly contacting the treatment and equipment suppliers/manufacturers we were able to ensure accuracy of the new site's content.  Ensuring clients both existing and new could find clear and concise information about the treatments available was essential. We also had to make sure that we covered all potential legalities, to protect not just the client but also ourselves.

The highly-interactive site was designed to provide clear and accurate information about the client’s services, in addition to contact details for the business. We had recently given the site a complete overhaul, with a more modern look and clearer patient info.

Farleigh Clinic has no connection to the current resident of their premises, Farleigh Medical, other than the location.

Farleigh Dental

Client: Farleigh Dental, Date: 2013

In 2013, a client contracted DigitalBulldog to create, design and manage an online presence for their new private dental care practice in Surrey. Nothing had been finalised for their new practice, not even a name until we coined Farleigh Dental.

What we did:

The client wanted a new identity for the new practice, having moved from another location some distance away. We took care of everything, including branding with the creation of the Farleigh Dental name itself.

The site contains many interactive elements, providinge clear and concise information about the client’s dental services, as well as providing essential contact details for the business. We designed and integrated the social media requirements too.

A critical point for the website was ensuring compliance with the strict standards set by the UK’s General Dental Council. We’ve recently given the site a complete overhaul, with a more modern look and clearer patient info.

RDS Decorating

The Client: RDS Decorating, Date: 2016 (original), updated 2019

RDS Decorating is an independent painting and decorating contractor based in Beckenham, South London. RDS asked DigitalBulldog to design and build a new website and create a unified identity for the business.

What we did:

We created a new logo, based on one the client had been using for a few years. Most importantly, the new logo is fully adaptable for use not just as a company symbol but also suitable for the business cards and flyers which we also designed for RDS.

Our recommendation for the site was to keep it basic. The site provides a point of contact, gallery of work, testimonials, concise text on the client's services, and pushes social media channels. We used animated sliders for focusing attention, and we used our custom-designed MaxFax format for longer sections of text. A new CMS-based site is in the planning stages.

Update 26/09/2019

While the new CMS-based site is still in the planning stages, we decided to give the existing RDS Decorating website a new lease of life. Most of the site's multiple pages have been condensed into a one-sheet style homepage, and the mobile-friendly variant was completely rebuilt from scratch. We also installed a more-secure better-protected message form to help prevent spam. The end result takes the RDS Decorating website into a more-modern more-professional era.

Update 05/08/2021

We've retired  the HTML site and launched an all-new CMS-based site for RDS Decorating.

Update 28/01/2023

RDS Decorating have a shiny new logo (not by us, sadly!) so we've reworked the site colours to match accordingly. We implemented both new feedback and gallery sections too.
